🤝 Bargaining Committee

Coordinates our bargaining efforts with SEIU. The bargaining committee is elected on a yearly basis. Join the bargaining committee to ensure we win the strongest possible contract.

🥳 FUN Committee

Organizes activities for community-building within the union. Weekly potlucks, crafting activities, or just hang-and-vent sessions with local brews. Join the fun committee if you want to make sure we stay connected with each other.

📸 Comms Committee

Oversees social media, press, website content and copy. Join the communications committee if you’re passionate about design, messaging, and getting the union’s agenda out there!

📝 Research Committee

Gathers information on the union, what it takes to win, and stats of various types. Join the research committee if you believe the union should build its messaging, actions, and priorities on solid data and statistics.

✊ Solidarity Committee

Coordinates solidarity efforts with other local and national unions, from Duke-affiliated faculty or staff unions to graduate workers unions across the nation. Join solidarity if you believe that we’ve got to stay connected to stay strong.
