Our contract covers all PhD students/grad workers currently enrolled in a PhD program at Duke University in Durham and Beaufort, North Carolina (see the article Recogonition and Bargaining Unit Definition). It is a legal agreement which pertains to the pay, benefits, and working of covered individuals per the National Labor Relations Act.
